History

Many of our historians in the course of history did not record the chivalry of the freedom figures of our history: either because they feared the oppressors or because of their submission to the justification culture dominating the intellectual classes. Knowing this aspect in our history increases our solidarity and mental powers in our war and struggle for the attainment of our heroic fathers' goals. (Islamic History, PP. 6-7)

History should be studied in a manner that would benefit (in) the reality of life. (Islamic History, P. 21)

It is very sorrowful that the Islamic nation sacrifices historical events and men, what is in contradiction with the requirements of religion. The study of history has become the new evaluation and criticism of men who had creative roles in the nation's past, and now all are put among the forbidden, banned. History is not just a series of sequential past events, which follow and flow in time as raindrops. History is the settlement and organization of these happenings, their reason, and interpretation. Although history is used in Arabic to express the first meaning, it is said that this issue is existent in history, whereas the technical term for the word is closer to the second meaning. The objective of history might not only be the recognition of historical events and the reasons and causes behind them. History is an objective far and above that. It is the overall recognition of the philosophy of life. (Islamic Logic, P. 516-517)
